Mike Faist is an actor by profession and American by nationality. The Grammy Award winner is well known for starring in Newsies as Morris Delancey, West Side Story, and Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen as Connor Murphy, for which he earned a nomination for a Tony Award.

Mike Faist’s birth took place on January 5, 1992, in Gahanna, Ohio, USA as Michael David Faist. As he was adopted at birth, the identity of his biological parents is not revealed. Both his adoptive father Kurt Faist and mother Julia Faist own their own real estate business. He also has two half-siblings- two brothers and one named Christopher.

Faist met his biological mother when he was 17 years old just before moving to New York. His birth family is a family of pilots and he too got his pilot’s license.

Faist has also starred in numerous films and TV shows. He has appeared in the films The Unspeakable Act (2012), The Grief of Others (2015), Wildling (2018), and West Side Story (2020) as Riff.
