Early Days
Hilker began her career as a model after she was discovered by a model agent at a ballet school. She found success after being featured in numerous national and international magazines, fashion companies, and commercials including for Clearasil and C & A. With a successful modeling career in place, she eventually ventured into acting.
Nadia Hilker’s debut screen appearance was in the 2010 TV movie Zimmer mit Tante as Marie-Luise Seelig. This was followed by appearances in numerous German TV series such as SOKO München (2010), Alarm für Cobra 11 (2010), Stuttgart Homicide (2010), Der letzte Bulle (2012), SOKO München (2012), and München 7 (2013), etc.
Her major work in Hollywood came about when she was cast as Luna kom Floukru in the long-running post-apocalyptic science fiction TV series The 100. Although she portrayed the character from 2016 to 2017, for a total of 7 episodes, it was enough to launch her career.

Since 2018 Nadia Hilker has been portraying the recurrent character Magna in AMC’s horror series The Walking Dead. She has also had a guest appearance in a 2020 episode of The Twilight Zone. Moreover, she has starred in the films Spring (2014), The Divergent Series: Allegiant (2016), and Collide (2016).
