His professional debut was as a dancer and actor in Target’s Back-to-School Campaign followed by a role in the 2012 short film Palms as Solomon Dorsey, a foster child moving between homes.
As Nathaniel J. Potvin honed his acting skills, he began to land roles in mainstream films and TV series. He guest-starred as Jimmy Barnes in an episode of TV One’s sitcom Belle's (2012) and in ABC’s popular sitcom The Middle (2013), and the TV film Twist of Faith.
