Who is Ngoc Trinh?

Ngoc Trinh is a Vietnamese model, fashion designer, businesswoman, and TV personality. Along with her self-titled line Ngoc Trinh, she is also known for creating the fashion brand C & T as well as opening a spa.

Ngoc Trinh – Bio, Age, Parents, Siblings

Ngoc Trinh’s birth took place on September 27, 1989, in Tra Vinh, Vietnam. She was born Tran Ngoc Trinh in an economically limited family. She was raised by her father and stepmother among 4 siblings.

Her father is named Tran Tong, her brother is named Tran Hoang Dung and her sister is named Tran Ngoc Bich.

Ngoc Trinh – Career

Trinh began modeling at a young age after manager Khac Tiep discovered her. She then joined the Vietnamese fashion village at 15 years old. At the age of 16, she won the Miss Jewelry contest.

She was named Photogenic Supermodel Vietnam in 2005. Years later she competed in the Miss Vietnam contest in 2011. Ngoc Trinh won the competition and was crowned Miss Vietnam. 

In 2014 she launched Ngoc Trinh, a clothing label. Moreover, she created the fashion brand C & T and opened a spa named SPA NGOC TRINH.

She is also a fashion designer and her designer suit was once worn by Victoria Beckham. As an actress, she has appearances in Vu Quy Dai Nao (2019) and Queen of the Bikini (2016), which is about her own life.

Ngoc Trinh – Controversy

In May 2019 Ngoc Trinh walked the Cannes red carpet at the premiere of World War II epic A Hidden Life dressed in a daring semi-sheer thong body suit. But she is not a stranger to revealing outfits. In fact, she has been dubbed “the lingerie queen.” 

Her appearance at Palais Du Festival has reportedly caused 'public outrage' in her home country. The government officials have faced her with a large fine.
