His parents raised him alongside his sibling, an older sister named Lexi Galitzine, who is an illustrator and interior stylist.
His father is descended from the House of Golitsyn, a family of Russian nobles. During the Russian Revolution, which ended in 1923, the family relocated to the UK.

Early Days
Nicholas Galitzine went to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, following a girl he liked, where he was discovered by an acting agency. As a child, he sang in the choir and performed in school productions of classic musicals.
His debut screen role was in the film The Beat Beneath My Feet (2014) and was followed by roles in the films High Strung (2016), Handsome Devil (2016), The Changeover (2017), and The Watcher in the Woods (2017).
Films, TV series
Finally, Galitzine was cast as Elliot Lefevre in the TV series Chambers. He portrayed the character for a total of 10 episodes in 2019 and is considered his breakthrough work.
Over the years he has starred in the films The Craft: Legacy (2020), Cinderella (2021), Purple Hearts (2022), Bottoms (2023), Red, White & Royal Blue (2023), The Idea of You (2024), etc.
Nicholas Galitzine also portrayed the character George Villiers in the TV mini-series Mary & George (2024).
