Who is Owen Neistat?

Owen Neistat is an assistant director and budding businessman by profession and American by nationality. The source of his fame is his father Casey Neistat, who is a YouTuber, filmmaker, vlogger, and co-founder of Beme, a multimedia company.

Owen Neistat’s birth took place on April 14, 1998, in Connecticut, USA. He was born to his mother Robin Harris and his father Casey Neistat. His mother gave birth to him when she was a teenager and his father was 17 years old. After his birth, his parents dropped out of high school and lived together in a trailer park from 1998 to 2001.

Later on, his father moved to New York and worked odd jobs to raise Owen Neistat. From his father's second marriage to entrepreneur and jewelry designer Candice Pool, he has two half-siblings- sisters Francine Neistat (born on December 6, 2014), and Georgie Neistat (born on 14 October 2018).

For education, he attended Norwich Free Academy High School and after graduation enrolled at the University of San Francisco. He joined the university in 2016 to study Bachelor of Science in Business (BSBA) in Hospitality Management and will be graduating in 2020.

Although Owen Neistat has not started his career, he has interned and worked in several establishments. He interned at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology-Media Lab for a month in April 2015, as a sales assistant at Krispy Kreme from April 2015 to June 2016.

After a brief hiatus, he worked at Foxwoods Resort Casino as a front desk agent from July 2018 to October 2018. Recently he interned at Tobin, Carberry, O'Malley, Riley & Selinger, P.C. from September 2018 to December 2018 and currently resides in San Francisco, California.

With his father, Owen Neistat has worked as an assistant director for The Neistat Brothers (2010) and Casey Neistat Vlog (2015).
