Who is Pallavi Sharda?

Pallavi Sharda is an Australian-Indian actress well known for starring in the Bollywood films My Name Is Khan, Dus Tola, Besharam, Hawaizaada, Begum Jaan, and Hollywood’s Pulse (2017), Beecham House (2019), and Tom and Jerry (2021).

Pallavi Sharda’s birth took place on 5 March 1990 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. She was born to her mother Hema Sharda and her father Nalin Kant Sharda. Both her parents are IIT alumni and have PhDs in science and engineering. She also has a sibling, a brother named Ankur Sharda.

For education, Pallavi Sharda attended Lowther Hall where she obtained an academic scholarship. She went on to study at the University of Melbourne at the age of 16. There she earned an LLB and BA (Media & Communications) & Diploma in Modern Languages (French), graduating with honors.

Early Days

In 2010 Sharda moved from Melbourne to Mumbai. Her debut role in Bollywood is in the 2010 film My Name Is Khan. This was followed by roles in the films Dus Tola (2010), Love Breakups Zindagi (2011), Save Your Legs (2013), and Hawaizaada (2015).

Films, Series

In recent years Pallavi Sharda has appeared in the films UnIndian (2015), Lion (2016), Begum Jaan (2017), Pulse (2017), Beecham House (2019), and Tom and Jerry (2021), among others. She has also appeared in an episode of the TV series Strike Back (2019).

She is also the founder of The Bodhini Project and No Other Lab. She is also an ambassador for Australia's largest cultural festival in India OZ FEST her first book will be published in 2021.
