Who is Perdita Weeks?

Perdita Weeks is an actress by profession and British by nationality. She is well known for starring in The Tudors as Mary Boleyn and in Magnum P.I. as Juliet Higgins.

Perdita Weeks’ birth took place on 5 December 1985 in Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom. She was born as Perdita Rose Annunziata Weeks to father Robin Weeks and mother Susan Weeks. 

She is not the only child of her parents and has two siblings- older sister Honeysuckle Weeks and younger brother Rollo Weeks, who are both actors.

Education, Ethnicity

For education Perdita Weeks attended Roedean School and after graduation studied art history at the Courtauld Institute. 

Her ethnicity includes English and Welsh.

Perdita Weeks – Boyfriend, Husband, Children, Divorce

Perdita Weeks is married to her longtime boyfriend Kit Frederiksen. The couple wed on 4 October 2012. With her husband, she has welcomed two children together- twin sons Rupert Sebastian Frederiksen and Humphrey Carrington Frederiksen.

Early Career

Weeks began her career at a young age. Her beginning role was in Goggle-Eyes (1993) as Judith Killan. This was followed by roles in Loving (1995), The Cold Light of Day (1996), Spice World (1997), The Prince and the Pauper (2000) as Lady Jane Grey, Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silk Stocking (2004).

Recent years

Since 2005 Perdita Weeks has acted in The Tudors (2007-2008), The Promise (2010- 2011), Flight of the Storks (2013), As above as below (2014), The Musketeers (2015), Ready Player One (2018), Penny Dreadful (2016), Magnum P.I. (2018-present) as Juliet Higgins.

She also voiced Morgan le Fay in the 2019 video game Du Lac & Fey: Dance of Death.
