Phaedra Parks is a lawyer, author, and reality TV star by profession, and American by nationality. She is well known for starring in Bravo TV’s reality TV show Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Following college graduation, Phaedra Parks practiced law. Currently, she works as a managing partner of The Parks Group and practices law in the areas of entertainment, intellectual property rights, and civil and criminal litigation.
In addition, she has worked as the president of the Gate City Bar Association, and on the advisory board of the American Bar Association. Phaedra Parks has also worked for NBC, Fox, CNN, truTV, EXTRA, and Entertainment Tonight as an on-air legal analyst.

In addition, she is also a successful author. Her book Secrets of the Southern Belle: How to Be Nice, Work Hard, Look Pretty, Have Fun, and Never Have an Off Moment was published in 2013.
Being a passionate social activist, Phaedra Parks has advocated for African-American boys, worked with her nonprofit organization Save Our Sons, and founded the Phaedra Foundation. Recently she has been featured on Bravo TV’s reality show The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA).
