Pollyanna McIntosh was born on March 15, 1979, in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. Her mother’s name is Judith McIntosh and her father’s name is David McIntosh, who was an actor turned businessman. She was raised by her parents with three siblings- older sisters Tilly MacIntosh, and Lucy MacIntosh, and younger sister Zoe MacIntosh.

The family moved from Scotland to Portugal to Colombia.

Early Days

At the age of 9, McIntosh began performing as an amateur actor at a theater in Edinburgh. She went on to work as a model and was even photographed for the Pirelli Calendar in December 2003. 

Her American film debut was in the 2005 film Headspace as Stacy. This was followed by minor roles in the films Sex and Death 101 (2007), Bats: Human Harvest (2007), 9 Lives of Mara (2007), All Ages Night  (2009), Land of the Lost (2009), etc.

Finally, Pollyanna McIntosh’s role in the film Exam (2009) earned her nomination for the Raindance Award at the British Independent Film Awards as well as Best Work of a Rookie at the BAFTA Awards.
