Who is Robin Dunne?

Robin Dunne is an actor by profession and Canadian by nationality. He is well known for starring in the television series Sanctuary as Doctor Will Zimmerman and in series on Hallmark Channel as well as Lifetime Channel’s television films.

Robin Dunne’s birth took place on November 19, 1976, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was born to an Irish mother while details of his father, siblings, and the rest of his family are very much limited.

Robin Dunne – Girlfriend, Wife, Children, Divorce

Robin Dunne’s first wife is actress Heidi Lenhart. They had married in April 2002 but divorced in 2005 under the pressures of living in Hollywood. They do not have any children together.

He went on to date his Welcome to Nowhere co-star Farrah Aviva and married his girlfriend on July 16, 2016, after years of dating. He and his wife welcomed their first child together, a daughter in March 2021.

Early Days

Dunne began his career as an actor in 1994, his debut role being in the TV film Against Their Will: Women in Prison as Scott. In the coming years, he landed a series of guest roles in the episode(s) of the TV series Side Effects (1995), The Adventures of Sinbad (1996), Mythic Warriors: Guardians of the Legend (1998), etc.

Finally, in 1998, he landed the recurring role of Franz Bhaer in Little Men (1998-1999) and in Dawson's Creek (1999-2000) as A.J. Moller. These roles gained him wide recognition.

TV Series, Films

Over the years Robin Dunne is known for starring in the films The Fraternity (2002), Jack and Jill vs. the World (2008), Supercollider (2013), The Adventure Club (2016), and in the TV films Species III (2004), three Roxy Hunter film series (2007, 2008; also co-writer), Hallmark’s The Good Witch's Destiny (2013), Real Murders: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery (2015), Sound of Christmas (2016). 

He played Dr. Will Zimmerman / Jack Zimmerman in the TV series Sanctuary from 2008 to 2011. Dunne has also starred in the Netflix series October Faction (2020) and Lifetime’s His Fatal Fixation.
