Who is Roshon Fegan?

Roshon Fegan is an actor, rapper, and dancer by profession, and American by nationality. He is well known for his role in Shake It Up as Ty Blue, in Camp Rock as Sander Loyer, and as Bobby DeBarge in The Bobby DeBarge Story.

He used to be known by the name styled as RO SHON and is mononymously known as Roshon.

Roshon Fegan’s birth took place on October 6, 1991, in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was born Roshon Bernard Fegan to his Filipino mother Cion Fegan and his father Roy Fegan, an African-American actor and producer.

He is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling, a sister named Fatima Fegan. 

Education, Ethnicity

Roshon Fegan was raised in Los Angeles and attended BK Acting Studio, USC 32nd Street Performing Arts School, Tom Bradley Elementary, and Hollywood High School. He was later home-schooled.

His ethnicity includes African-American and Filipino.

Roshon Fegan – Girlfriend, Wife, Children, Divorce

Camp Rock co-star Anna Maria Perez de Tagle was Roshon Fegan’s first girlfriend. They dated from 2008 to 2009. In 2012 he began a relationship with Chelsie Hightower, his co-dancer from Dancing with the Stars. But this affair lasted only a year.

He had a short fling with his Shake It Up co-star Caroline Sunshine in 2013 and dated model Camia Marie from 2014 to 2017. He has been in a relationship with dancer Dytto since 2017. 

The couple has yet to share their plans/thoughts on marriage and children. As he has never married, he is sans wife and divorce is out of context.

Roshon Fegan – Career

Before Fame

He first appeared on TV at the age of 18 months in a national soda commercial. Roshon Fegan began his professional career in 2003, at the age of 12. He had a small role in the 2004 film Spider-Man 2. This was soon followed by appearances in Camp Rock (2008), Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010) and the TV series Shake It Up (2010-2013) as Ty Blue.

He was a contestant in season 14 of Dancing with the Stars. He also landed minor roles in the films Baby (2007), and Drillbit Taylor (2008).

2013 onwards

Since 2013, Roshon Fegan has had roles in films What Still Remains (2018) and TV series A.N.T. Farm (2014), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015), and Greenleaf (2017-2018). He was cast as the late American singer Bobby DeBarge in 2019’s The Bobby DeBarge Story.

In addition, Fegan is also a rapper, songwriter, and producer and has released around 10 singles under the name RO SHON.
