Early Days
Corr began his career as a child actor. As a child, his grandfather would fly with him to support him in his acting jobs. His debut screen role was at the age of 13 in the 2003 TV series Sleepover Club as Matthew McDougal. This was followed by appearances in the episodes of the TV series Silversun (2004), Blue Heelers (2005), Scooter: Secret Agent (2005), Blue Water High (2006), etc.
Finally, he was cast as Coby Jennings in the hit Australian TV series Packed to the Rafters. He played the role for a total of 62 episodes, from 2009 to 2013, and is considered a breakthrough in his career.

In May 2014 Ryan Corr was arrested after he was found with a freezer bag holding 0.26g of heroin in Sydney and charged with heroin possession. After he admitted to his crime, he was given a 12-month good behavior bond with no conviction recorded. According to Corr’s representatives, the arrest took place a few after his grandfather had suffered a heart attack and gone into a coma.
His lawyer stated that the actor was grateful for having been arrested as it ceased him from using the drug which was bought at a hotel by a man who said “here, have this, you’ll feel better” during his “vulnerable state.”
Ryan Corr later said, “I found myself in a position where I was incredibly upset, someone offered me something, and 200 meters after, I was picked up with it. It was an error of judgment.”
