Sailor Brinkley Cook’s birth took place on July 2, 1998, in New York, USA. She was born as Sailor Lee Brinkley Cook to her mother Christie Brinkley, a model and New York Times bestselling author, and her father Peter Halsey Cook, an architect, and model.

She is the only child of her parents but has two half-siblings. Her older half-sister Alexa Ray Joel was born on December 29, 1985, from her mother’s second marriage, and half-brother Jack Paris Brinkley Taubman (born June 2, 1995) from her mother’s third marriage.

The young model Sailor Brinkley Cook is well known for her short flings now and then. In the summer of 2018, she was spotted holding hands with 26-year-old pro surfer Balaram Stack in New York City. The same day the two were spotted going out to dinner, which was the first and last time she was seen with Stack.

In February 2019 Sailor Brinkley Cook was spotted kissing a mystery man on the beach of Miami. The details of her relationship came out in April 2019. She and her boyfriend Ben Sosne were spotted again in Sydney during a beach day. They were reported to be dating since December 2018.

Brinkley Cook started her professional career as a model at the age of 15. She was signed to the prestigious modeling agency IMG Models at the start of her career. She also interned for the website magazine In the Gloss and worked there as a writer for beauty and lifestyle content.

Sailor Brinkley Cook has had more success as a model than a writer. Among all her modeling works, she is well known for her 2017 Sports Illustrated photoshoots in which she posed nude, and in 2018 Sports Illustrated photoshoots which occurred in Aruba. For the magazine, she has posed wearing over 14 swimsuits.

She also walked the runway with her mother for Ellie Tahari at New York Fashion Week in 2019.

Brinkley Cook competed in season 28 of Dancing with the Stars and was paired with professional dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy. They were eliminated third on the October 21, 2019, episode of the dance show.
