Sean Kleier landed his debut screen role as Ben in a 2013 episode of the TV series Futurestates. He went on to portray minor characters in the TV series 20-Something (2014), Hey Girl (2013-2014), Madam Secretary (2014), Mr. Right (2014-2015), etc., and in the films She Lights Up Well (2014), Homeward (2014). He also starred in the short films While the Cat's Away (2013), Level 23 (2013), and A Queen Without His Crown (2013), etc during this time.

Finally, in 2015, Kleier was cast as Lex Von Weber in the TV series Odd Mom Out. He portrayed the character for a total of 30 episodes, until 2017.
