Who is Serena Guthrie?
Serena Guthrie is a netball player by profession and British by nationality. Originally from Bailiwick of Jersey, she plays internationally for England and was with Team Bath until 2014 and rejoined the team in 2019.
She is well known for her speed, athleticism, and a keen eye for the intercept.

Serena Guthrie’s birth took place on 5 January 1990 in Peterborough, GBR, and was raised in Bailiwick of Jersey.
She is not the only child of her parents and has a younger sibling, brother Kurtis Guthrie, who is now an English footballer. Other facts about her early life including the name of her mother and father are not shared with the public.

Serena Guthrie is currently in a romantic relationship with Bob Kersten. After years of dating, she got engaged to her boyfriend on May 22, 2019. She is happily looking forward to marrying and starting a family with her soon-to-be husband. They were planning to marry in 2021 but the pandemic pushed their wedding to 2022.
The couple welcomed their first child together- daughter Remi Kersten on September 15, 2022. There are no rumors of divorce surrounding the pair. They married in August 2023.

Serena Guthrie – Career
Teams
Guthrie began her professional career in 2008, at the age of 17. In 2007, she signed up with Team Bath and played netball for the team until 2014. She trained with Northern Mystics in 2012 and joined the team in 2015. Serena Guthrie left the Mystics in 2016.
In 2017 she began playing for Giants Netball in the Australian Suncorp Super Netball league and was appointed the captain for the series against Uganda in November 2018.
But left the Super Netball League at the end of the 2018 season. She returned to her old club Team Bath in the United Kingdom in 2019. Serena Guthrie has also won over 50 caps for her country.
In October 2019 it was announced that Serena Guthrie will be stepping away from netball this season and will be back after 6 months.

Awards, Medals
Serena Guthrie won the 2017 MVP award while she was a member of Giants Netball. She won a gold medal in the 2011 World Netball Series and a bronze medal at the 2011 Netball World Championships. Guthrie was also an influential contributor in winning gold medals for England at the 2017 Fast5 Netball World Series and 2018 Commonwealth Games.
In the 2019 Netball World Cup campaign, Serena Guthrie was granted the honor of captain for the Roses.
