Seth Rogen – Age, Parents, Siblings
Seth Rogen was born Seth Aaron Rogen on April 15, 1982, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to his mother Sandy, and father Mark Rogen. Sandy is a social worker while Mark for non-profit organizations and is an assistant director of the Workmen's Circle. He is not the only child of his parents and has an older sister named Danya Rogen.
Although Rogen has American citizenship through his father’s side, he likes to be associated as a Canadian, mostly because he grew up there.
Education, Ethnicity
For his education, he attended Vancouver Talmud Torah Elementary School and Point Grey Secondary School. But he dropped out of high school at the age of 16.
His ethnicity is Ashkenazi-Jewish.
Seth Rogen – Girlfriend, Wife, Children, Divorce
Rogen started to date writer/actress Lauren Miller in 2004. He and his girlfriend had first met while working on Da Ali G Show. After dating for about 6 years, they got engaged on September 29, 2010.
The couple tied the knot on October 2, 2011, in Sonoma County, California. He and his wife do not have any children together. In May 2021, Rogen opened up about his choice to not have children. There are no rumors of divorce surrounding the couple.
Seth Rogen – Career
Early Days
Talking about his early career, Seth Rogen said, "As soon as I realized you could be funny as a job, that was the job I wanted". So, at the age of 12, he enrolled in a comedy workshop taught by Mark Pooley and started performing.
At the age of 16, he landed a role on the television show Freaks and Geeks, for which he dropped out of high school. At that time, his parents had lost their jobs and were forced to sell their homes. Rogen became the breadwinner of the family and he even relocated his family to Los Angeles.
Although Freaks and Geeks only aired for a season, his performance was impressive and was chosen to play a lead role in the show Undeclared. Unfortunately, the network did not think that he was leading male material. But the undefeated Rogen knew that he would be a good writer.
His big break came in 2004. Rogen was selected to become a staff writer for Da Ali G Show, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. The 2007 movie Knocked Up is also regarded as his break-out movie.

Films, TV Shows
Over the years Rogen has worked in movies such as Donnie Darko (2001), and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Others include 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), Knocked Up (2007), Superbad, Pineapple Express, Funny People, The Green Hornet, 50/50, Steve Jobs, This Is the End, Neighbors, The Night Before, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, Sausage Party, The Interview.
He is the voice of Pumbaa in the remake of The Lion King (1994), released on July 19, 2019. He also has been cast in movies such as Flarsky (2019), Newsflash, and Good Boys.

An activist
Seth Rogen is actively involved in raising awareness of Alzheimer's disease. No one in his biological family has it, but his wife’s side of the family has it. In an interview with CNN, he said,
“I think until you see it firsthand, it's kind of hard to conceive of how brutal it is. Until I saw it, you just don't get kind of how heartbreaking it can be."
Both he and his wife appeared in A Larry King Special, Unthinkable: The Alzheimer's Epidemic in April 2011.
Rogen is also a supporter of the LGBT community and in the past has appeared in a Bud Light commercial celebrating LGBT Pride Month and the Supreme Court of the United States ruling same-sex couples the right to marry.
