Mongeau and fellow YouTuber Brad Sousa started dating in late 2018. But in April 2019 it was revealed that the couple had broken up. She claimed that she had caught Sousa sending another girl some flirty DMs. Sousa claimed that he never physically cheated on her but admitted to sending inappropriate messages to other girls.

Tana Mongeau was also in an open relationship with actress and singer Bella Throne. While Mongeau dated  Brad Sousa, Throne dated rapper Mod Sun. After a year of a relationship, she and her girlfriend broke up in February 2019.

In June 2019  Mongeau was revealed to be dating Jake Paul. On June 24, 2019, the couple announced their engagement. They married on July 28, 2019, in Las Vegas. However, the marriage was short-lived with them splitting up and finally divorcing in January 2020.

YouTube

Tana Mongeau joined YouTube in April 2015. Her subscribers on YouTube gradually increased. Her most famous videos are her "storytime" videos. As of June 2019, she has over 4.5 million subscribers and counting.

After initial success on YouTube, Tana Mongeau branched out to other social media sites including Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter where she has gained millions of followers.

Tana Mongeau – Controversy

On January 24, 2017, Tana Mongeau posted a video on her YouTube channel titled The N-Word. In the video, she described an encounter with a person (later revealed to be YouTuber iDubbbz) who told her "say n****r". It was in response to the tweet of Mongeau telling iDubbbz to kill himself for his comedic use of "n****r" in his YouTube videos. Tana Mongeau posted an apology video in February 2017.

TanaCon

After Tana Mongeau failed to receive the rights at the convention of a featured creator, she announced on May 26, 2018, that she would be hosting her own convention titled TanaCon. The tickets were sold and 4,000 to 5,000 people attended the event while Mongeau claimed that 20,000 people attended the convention.

But TanaCon was canceled the same day as there was a lack of promised space, proper management, and acts. Attendants complained of a lack of food, and water while having to stand out in the sun for hours resulting in sunburn, and some people even passed out.

Attendants also demanded a refund while  Shane Dawson said that agreeing to appear at TanaCon was the "worst decision ever made."

In 2019 VidCon Tana Mongeau was the Featured Creator in VidCon.
