Teri Polo is an actress by profession and American by nationality. She is well known for starring in Meet the Parents trilogy, I'm with Her, The West Wing as police officer Stef Adams Foster, The Fosters, and Good Trouble.

Teri Polo’s birth took place on June 1, 1969, in Dover, Delaware, USA. Born as Theresa Elizabeth Polo to father Vincent Polo, a stereo systems designer, and mother Jane Polo (née Gentry), a homemaker she is not the only child of her parents and has two siblings. Her brothers are named Steve Polo and Mike Polo.

For education, Teri Polo attended Holy Cross Elementary School and the School of American Ballet by the age of 13. She had studied ballet since she was five years old. Her ethnicity is Italian, English, and German.

Teri Polo married her longtime boyfriend Anthony Moore on 20 April 1997. With her husband, she has a son- Griffin Moore (born in 2002). However, this marriage was short-lived and the divorce was finalized on 19 April 2005.

She went on to date drummer Jamie Wollam after meeting him in 2006 on the set of a video. After moving in together the couple welcomed daughter Bayley Wollam in 2007. Although the pair were engaged, they broke up in 2012.

She is currently in a relationship with a man whom she refers to as “J”. She is yet to introduce her new love on social media, to whom she is now engaged. 

In April 2020 Teri Polo posted a picture on Instagram with “food baby” and added that she is not pregnant.

Early Days

After Polo won a Seventeen magazine modeling contest, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting at the age of seventeen. Her debut role was as Kristin Larsen in the TV series Loving in 1986. This was followed by appearances on TV 101 (1988-1989), Northern Exposure (1994-1995), Brimstone (1988-1999), I'm with Her (2003-2004), The West Wing (2005-2006), etc.

During this time she also had appearances in the films Born to Ride (1991), The Arrival (1996), Domestic Disturbance (2001), and Meet the Fockers (2004) as Pam Byrnes-Focker, among others.

TV Series, Films

Since 2007 Teri Polo has starred in the films The Hole (2009), Little Fockers (2010), Authors Anonymous (2014), Outlaws and Angels (2016), and in Hallmark TV movies Love Is a Four Letter Word (2007), Expecting a Miracle (2009), The Christmas Heart (2012), to name a few. 

Moreover, she has also worked in the Lifetime movies For the Love of a Child (2006), and Legacy of Fear (2006). Teri Polo also has had guest appearances on the TV series The Wedding Bells (2007), Law & Order: LA (2010-2011), Man Up! (2011), Good Trouble (2019), etc.
