Theo Von began his career at the age of 19. He was still a student at Louisiana State University when he was cast in MTV's Road Rules: Maximum Velocity Tour in 2000. He went on to appear in the TV shows The Challenge, Battle of the Seasons (2002), The Gauntlet (2003–2004), Battle of the Sexes II (2004–2005), Fresh Meat (2006), Last Comic Standing (2006).
He was a member of the Comedy Central sketch/competition show Reality Bites Back in 2008. Von went on to win the show – beating fellow competitors Amy Schumer, Bert Kreischer, and Tiffany Haddish.
As a TV host, Theo Von has worked in the TV show Deal With It (2013-2014). He also appeared in the TV shows Inside Amy Schumer (2013), Why? with Hannibal Buress (2015), among others.

Von began his career as a stand-up comedian at the age of 23 and moved to Los Angeles to do so. He eventually won the 2006’s Last Comic Standing. He released his debut comedy special No Offense in 2016.
