Tobe Nwigwe was born on March 8, 1987, in Alief, Houston, Texas, USA. His full name is Tobechukwu Dubem Nwigwe, his mother’s name is Victoria Nwigwe and his father’s name is Cyril Nwigwe. Her parents raised her alongside her two siblings- brother Joel Nwigwe and sister Nell Nwigwe.

The couple is expecting their fourth child in the early months of 2023.

They welcomed son Chikodili "Chiko" Ejikemeuwa Nwigwe in April 2023.

Early Days

While in college, Nwigwe was being considered for the draft by the NFL. But a tear in his Lisfranc ligament caused him to leave his career as an athlete.

He went on to establish the nonprofit TeamGINI, the name derived from Gini Bu Nkpa Gi? In the Igbo language and translates to “What’s your trouble?” The establishment helps families by helping them gain financial literacy and independence and also providing gifts to needy families.
