While still a college student, he appeared in the theatre production of stage plays such as Peter Pan and Macbeth. Tom Glynn-Carney’s debut screen appearance in two episodes of the TV series Casualty as George Thorne in 2013. 

This was followed by guest/supporting roles in the TV Mini-Series The Last Post (2016) as Lance-Corporal Tony Armstrong. He appeared in 6 episodes of the series in 2017 which is considered his breakthrough role.
