'90 Day Fiance' alum Deavan Clegg confirms filing for divorce from Jihoon Lee

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg has confirmed that she has filed for divorce from her South Korean husband Jihoon Lee just a month after their publicized split. She said on Instagram that she is "trying" to get the divorce finalized, ending weeks of speculation. 

"Woke up to a lot of hate mail. I want to say this once: I've tried to get the divorce finished. Jihoon has not yet signed," Clegg wrote on Instagram Stories. "I've been trying, so everyone leave me alone about that situation."

After posting pictures of herself in Utah instead of South Korea in May, she first drew attention. She had previously told that she had "gotten stuck" in America due to the coronavirus pandemic but later confirmed that she had permanently moved back to America. 

Moreover, Deavan Clegg confirmed that she has started a new relationship and is dating Christopher "Topher" Park. The news has sparked criticism from some people on social media after Park and Taeyang wore matching plaid shirts. 

The reality TV star responded, “You don't know what happened behind closed doors", she was tired of people "attacking her" for dating someone new, and “He’s told me time and time again he just wants to pretend it didn’t happen and has called me, my son, Drascilla vile things. I’m done I’m sick of the lies I’m sick of pretending it’s okay I’m done.”

Clegg further added that there was a "horrible reason" for returning to the U.S. and the "truth will come out eventually." Jihoon Lee also confirmed their breakup on Instagram Live, “We are living our own life, that’s our future. So just keep watching. Just keep [supporting] [me] getting [a] better life," he added. And about the custody of Taeyang, the former couple’s 16-month-old son, he said he might do yearly visits. 

Deavan Clegg also has a three-year-old daughter Drascilla from a previous relationship.
