Madison Prewett is ready to become a bride after accepting the proposal from her boyfriend Grant Troutt.

The 26-year-old reality TV star announced the news on Instagram. “7.31.22. You were worth the wait,” she wrote alongside a series of their beach engagement shots.

The couple has been dating for eight months, starting in December 2021 but did not go Instagram official until May 2022.

According to People, Troutt, also 26, got down on one knee in Palm Beach, Florida, and had been planning the romantic proposal for weeks.

“Grant was waiting for me and led me out to the beach, where he had candles and flowers and a Bible with my new name on it. And the ring of my dreams!”  Prewett shared the proposal with the outlet.

She continued, “I thought we were celebrating one of our friend’s birthdays. I was told we were taking birthday pictures on the beach and when I came down, my best friend led me into the bathroom where my mom and sisters were with the dress I wanted to get engaged in.”

Madison Prewett wore a white, satin gown with gold chain straps while her new fiance wore a light blue suit, white dress shirt, and white shoes.

The former reality star was introduced to The Bachelor world as she competed for the rose of Peter Weber’s season on the hit ABC dating show.

Prewett has been mostly open about her feeling toward Troutt.

“Grant Michael Troutt, so full of passion and purpose and joy….. I am proud I get to do life with someone who loves Jesus and people like you do. It’s been special since the first date. When u [sic] forgot to open my car door because we were both so nervous, when we barely touched our quesadillas at dinner because of our deep convos and intentional questions, and then ending the night riding around listening to Drake in the car on full blast for hours,” she had said of their days together in May 2022.
