Bam Margera’s estranged wife Nicole Boyd asks $15K a month in child support
Bam Margera’s estranged wife Nicole “Nikki” Boyd is seeking $15,000 per month in child support amid their divorce and custody battle.
According to TMZ, Nikki is asking for sole physical and legal custody of their 5-year-old son Phoenix. She also added that she is open to supervised visitation for her soon-to-be ex-husband – only if he completes drug and alcohol rehab programs first.
In addition, the 39-year-old model also is asking for spousal support. She also wants Margera, 43, to cover her attorneys’ fees of at least $50,000.
According to the claims, the actor has a net worth of around $55 million.
The outlet also reported Nikki’s claims of her earnings to be less than $4,000 per month and hence needs the former Jackass star’s financial assistance. She also made her concerns that he might be hiding his assets and/or spending his money recklessly.
In February 2023, Nikki filed for legal separation - citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the filing.
It was later explained that she had “made the hard choice to protect herself and their son” as she had concerns about Margera’s behavior around their son Phoenix.
Nikki’s lawyers alleged that she had observed the stuntman acting “inappropriately” while interacting with their son. Although he claims to be sober at the time, she claimed he was under the influence.
In early May 2023, he tried to get Boyd’s request for separation dismissed – asserting that they had “never been married, legally or otherwise.”
The former couple had a matrimonial ceremony in Reykjavik, Iceland, in October 2013. It is, however, unclear if they obtained a marriage license.
Just last week, Margera claimed that Boyd had been keeping his son away from him – which she denied while adding she has been abiding by the current custody orders. She also shared that he is able to spend time with their child as long as he’s sober.
Margera has a long history of alcohol and drug abuse, having been in and out of treatment centers for over a decade.
Just last year, he swore off drinking and blasted his brother for “falsely accusing” him of being on meth.
