Chase Chrisley and Emmy Medders engaged to be married

Chase Chrisley announced that he is now engaged to his girlfriend of three years, Emmy Medders.

“I am the luckiest man in the world, being able to call you mine forever is a blessing straight from God,” he wrote alongside a series of pictures of the proposal.

He continued, “You are the sunshine when it’s dark, you are the rain when it’s dry. I love you more than life itself and can’t wait to live forever with you! To you my love! Thank you for taking me FOREVER!!”

Medders too took to Instagram to announce her engagement with her boyfriend.

“You’re everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more. I love you, Chase Madison Chrisley! My heart is yours forever,” he wrote.

In the pictures, the reality TV star led Emmy Medders by the hand alongside the road of red rose pedals into the empty football stadium. As Medders stood on one half of the heart-shaped rose pedal design, he got on one knee on the other half of the 175,000 rose petal heart.

Happy with the 3.5-carat oval diamond ring, she said yes to the Chrisley Knows Best star. "It's absolutely gorgeous. I can't stop staring at it," she said of her new engagement ring.

People reported that the soon-to-be groom had planned the romantic gesture by renting out the First Horizon Baseball Stadium in downtown Nashville.

“I was so surprised. I had no idea it was happening,” the bride-to-be said to the outlet. Moreover, her family surprised her by being present to witness the proposal.

“My dad is sick with ALS, so it was a very special moment that he could travel to Nashville and be on the field,” Medders revealed.

“It was really important for me that her dad was there to see it,” Chase Chrisley added.

Although the wedding date was not set, the couple agreed on the location. "Emmy and I both talked, and we would both really love to get married in Charleston," Chrisley shared.

Medders, who began dating the Growing Up Chrisley star in 2020 revealed, "Todd's already blowing up my phone, sending me some dress options that he thinks are pretty."

Chrisley also further discussed their wedding plans and how his dad Todd Chrisley is with weddings, “My dad has the best taste of anybody that I've ever met. We've never had a decorator in any of our homes or anything like that. He's always done all that. So literally, Emmy was like, 'Todd, you just do whatever you want to do because I know it's going to be better than I could ever imagine...I'll tell you what. my dad is a wedding planner's nightmare."
