Christian Oliver’s wife Jessica Klepser and her family are mourning the tragic and untimely death of her husband and two daughters.
The Instagram account of WundaBar Pilates, the studio where Klepser works as a regional manager, released a statement about Jessica Klepser and her family.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane accident on January 4, 2024, which took the lives of our beloved family members.”
It continued, “Our daughters, Madita (12), and Annik (10), along with their father Christian, were returning from a holiday in the Caribbean when the single-engine plane they were traveling in experienced engine trouble and fell into the ocean. Unfortunately, all four passengers on the small aircraft did not survive.”
The deceased were honored by giving some insight into who they were.
Oliver’s 12-year-old daughter Madita was described as “a vibrant 7th-grade student at Louis Armstrong Middle School, was known for her lively spirit and excelled in academics, dance, singing, and performances.”
Her younger sister Annik, 10, was “a 4th-grade student at Wonderland Ave Elementary School, and was recognized for her gentle yet strong demeanor. She was always the first to offer a kind word or a comforting hug. Her passions included basketball, swimming, and various forms of art.”
It was also revealed that Christian Oliver, 51, worked as a real estate agent and an actor in both the US and Europe.
“Christian, an actor in Europe and the US, and a real estate agent with a broad network of close friends worldwide, is survived by Jessica, his parents, and a sister in Germany. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him,” the statement read.
The family has set up a GoFundMe for anyone wishing to donate.
The grieving family has requested privacy at this difficult time.
Officials confirmed the small plane was carrying Oliver and his two girls from the island of Bequia to nearby St. Lucia when it plummeted into the ocean.
The pilot and owner of the plane Robert Sachs also died in the crash.
Divers and fishers were called to the scene in an attempt at rescue. However, all four passengers were declared dead on the spot.
Just days before his death, he shared pictures of the vacation on Instagram.
“Let love rule. Wishing all of you the best for 2024!” he wrote over the image.
