Common, Tiffany Haddish split- over a year of dating

American rapper Common, born Lonnie Rashid Lynn, and comedian, actress Tiffany Haddish has broken up after more than a year of dating.

People reported, “They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship.”

Last August the 41-year-old Girls Trip star confirmed her relationship with the 49-year-old rapper and actor.

Haddish had shared at the time, “Knock on wood! I’ve lost 20 pounds since I’ve been in this relationship. I feel more confident in me and it’s not him that’s doing it. I’m just way happier and it’s like knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does anyways. And I love it. I love him.”

Months before their relationship was confirmed by Haddish, fans had speculated that the pair were dating. After the pair signed a deal with the dating app Bumble to promote virtual dating during the pandemic, fans were further confirmed.

Common too had gushed about his new love on The Karen Hunter Show back in November 2020, “We’re doing wonderful. She’s a really incredible human being, and the more I get to know her, I just see how dynamic she is as a person. How intelligent, how selfless she is, how she stands up in Hollywood for black women. I’m learning. You know what I mean?”

Common and Tiffany Haddish had first met in 2019 while appearing on the set of The Kitchen but the pair did not start their romantic relationship until 2020.
