Danica Patrick and boyfriend Carter Comstock Split

Danica Patrick has confirmed that she and her boyfriend Carter Comstock have broken up. The retired NASCAR driver dated the Freshly Co-Founder for nearly one year.

Patrick told People, “We were together for a while, and unfortunately it didn’t work, but it doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a really fun time and we didn’t do a lot of really amazing things.” She also added that they split up several months ago.

The announcement comes just three months after the pair spend the holidays together where they spent their first Christmas together.

The 40-year-old spoke of her recent breakup, “It doesn’t mean that there’s something wrong with either of us. It’s just a matter of finding someone who you can stand the test of time with.”

The former pair met through mutual friends and made their relationship public in April 2021.

She had said of her ideal partner in an interview, “I had this sort of grand vision for finding someone I could just sit on the couch with and, like, have a glass of wine and just literally come up with any topic at all, simple or complicated. I just always imagined how great it would be to find someone to sit on the couch and talk with for hours, and that’s just what we do.”

Prior to Comstock, Danica Patrick was in a high-profile relationship with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. They began dating in early 2018, having progressed their relationship such that they even purchased a $28 million Malibu estate. However, despite the serious nature of their romance, they called it quits in the summer of 2020.

The newly single Sky Sports broadcaster is planning to celebrate her 40th birthday later this month following a girls’ trip.

“Of course, my love life is not the pinnacle of all things. But on the other hand, [being single] gives me an opportunity to create a deeper relationship with myself. Wherever there is a lack, there is an abundance of something else,” Patrick shared a positive aspect of her new status.
