D.C. Young Fly’s girlfriend Jacky Oh dead at 33

D.C. Young Fly’s longtime partner and mother of his three children Jacky Oh died on May 31, 2023. She was 33.

TMZ reported that Jacky, birthname Jacklyn Smith, passed away in Miami. The outlet did not provide all the details surrounding Jacky’s sudden cause of death.

However, in a since-deleted Instagram post, she was in Florida to undergo a “mommy makeover” with a popular surgeon.

When Wild ‘N Out star got the news of his partner’s passing, he was in Atlanta shooting new episodes for the show created by Nick Cannon.

Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out Facebook page released a statement in regard to the tragic loss.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented ‘Wild N’ Out’ family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed. Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the ‘Wild N’ Out’ cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children.”

The statement continued, “The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.”

D.C. Young Fly, born John Whitfield, met Jacky in 2015 on the set of the hit MTV improvisational comedy show Wild ‘N Out. She appeared on the show as a Wild ‘N Out girl at the time.

Since then Jacky has launched J Nove Collection, a lip gloss line. She also was a realtor in the Atlanta area.

Jacky and D.C. are parents to three children together - daughters Nova and Nala, and a son named Prince who was born in 2022.
