Diane Keaton’s daughter Dexter announces engagement to boyfriend Jordan White

Diane Keaton’s daughter Dexter Keaton is now an engaged woman. Her boyfriend Jordan White turned fiance popped the question at California winery Saarloos and Sons over the weekend.

“This morning started with hail and ended with a diamond! I can’t believe I’m engaged!” wrote Dexter alongside a picture of White down on one knee on Instagram.

Diane Keaton, an Oscar-winning actress who had adopted Dexter in 1996, approved the union as she commented with clapping hands emojis. She also adopted her son Duke Keaton in 2001.

In 2014 Dexter told her mother on Mother’s Day, “I’m so thankful to have been adopted by such a strong, beautiful, and talented woman. I couldn’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me. I love you!”

White too took to Instagram to share the exciting news. “She said ‘oh my god’ a lot, and then eventually said ‘yes!’ Even though it was raining (and hailing), we did a thing!”

The couple has been dating for a little over a year. Back in June White had joked on Instagram while celebrating their first anniversary, “Not sure why she puts up with me at all, but I am very grateful that she does. (If we’re honest, I wouldn’t want to date me so I don’t see the draw for her.)”
