Hayden Panettiere’s brother Jansen was found unresponsive by his friends at his New York City apartment.

According to TMZ reports, the friends of the 28-year-old became concerned and visited his place after he did not show up at a business meeting.

Jansen was found sitting on a chair unresponsive by his friend who proceeded to call 911 and administered CPR.

Skip Panettiere, the father of 33-year-old Hayden Panettiere and 28-year-old Jansen told the cops that he and his son spoke on Saturday and he seemed “Ok.”

The cause of death of the artist and designer, who used the name RANE, is yet to be determined.

Although Hayden Panettiere is yet to comment on the family tragedy, the siblings seem to be close.

Back on January 24, 2023, Jansen posted a picture of the actress smiling as she cut his hair.

“Not the first haircut she’s tried to give me,” he wrote.

Catherine Michie, the girlfriend of the late artist, posted a tribute on Instagram. “sorry I wasn’t there when you needed me most,” she wrote.

Jansen and Hayden worked together in three films – Tiger Cruise (2004), Racing Stripes (2005), and The Forger (2011).
