Jana Kramer, Allan Russell engaged after 6 months of dating

Jana Kramer and Allan Russell are now engaged to be married.

Kramer, 39, announced that she and Russell, 42, got engaged on her her “Whine Down” podcast.

The One Tree Hill star shared with the listeners, “So, Allan and I have been dating for … six and a half months. And he asked me to marry him!”

The actress went on to share the details of the proposal on the podcast, “It was a really beautiful night, and me and the kids were sitting on the front porch steps and looking out at the view.”

She continued, “He said my name and I got up and then he got down on one knee. And then Jolie just started jumping up and down … it was the cutest thing ever. It’s like, she knew what was happening.”

“It felt very sentimental given the front porch of the new house and new beginnings. It just felt right,” the bride-to-be explained.

She also revealed that the proposal took place at her new home – in the presence of her daughter Jolie, 7, and son Jace, 4 – whom she shares with her ex-husband Mike Caussin.

Kramer also took to Instagram to share the exciting news alongside a series of engagement pictures.

Allan Russell, a former Scottish professional footballer, also took to social media to share his engagement news.

He wrote, “A forever with you just feels right and has done since the day I met you @kramergirl I’m proud to call you my fiancé and cherish every minute we spend together. I love you my little warrior xxx.”

Back in January 2023, Kramer revealed they were in a long-distance relationship and taking things slow.

She said at the time, “I don’t know if this is my forever person. … I’m not going to push away love just because I’ve been hurt before. I’m going to embrace it.”

In March 2023, after four months of dating, the couple made their red-carpet debut at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Soon after they went Instagram official.

This will be the fourth marriage for the actress. She was briefly married to Michael Gambino in 2004. Her second husband is Michael Gambino, with whom she was married for a year in 2010.

In 2015, she and Caussin tied the knot. After welcoming two children, they divorced after six years due to the former NFL star’s infidelity.
