Jeremiah Duggar engaged to girlfriend Hannah Wissmann

Jeremiah Duggar has proposed to and gotten engaged to girlfriend Hannah Wissmann just two months after making their relationship Instagram-official.

The 23-year-old wrote alongside the engagement photos, “She said YES!!!! Hannah, getting to know you for the past year has been so incredible! I can’t even find the words to describe it. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I cannot wait to marry you. I love you!!”

The 19 Kids and Counting star went on to thank The Wissmann family, his sister-in-law Katey Nakatsu Duggar, and twin brother Jedidiah “Jed” Duggar for helping to make the proposal special.

He wrote, “Thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible!! The Wissmann Family and Jed & Katey went above and beyond to make it special.”

Hannah Wissmann, 26, also took to Instagram to announce the good news, “YES!!!! A thousand times, yes!!! Making memories with you is my favorite and I cannot wait to spend a lifetime making more. You are an answer to prayer, a dream come true, the love of my life, and my very best friend. I love you, Jeremiah!”

She too shared some pictures of the engagement.

The reality star, whose 33-year-old brother Josh Duggar was found guilty of receiving and possessing child pornography, had first introduced his now-fiancée Hannah Wissmann to his followers via Instagram in late October 2021.

“Never been so happy. Never felt so blessed!! Getting to know each other has been one of the greatest joys of our lives! We are excited to start sharing our story with all of you and to see what God has in store for our future.” he had happily written in the post.

Jeremiah Duggar also seems to have his parent's approval of the engagement. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar congratulated the couple by re-posting their announcement to their Instagram story and writing, “Congratulations!”

The newly-engaged pair are yet to talk about the wedding.
