Jesse Williams, best known for playing Jackson Avery in Grey's Anatomy is in hot water. His ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee, a real estate broker has demanded him to pay $200,000 so that she can pay up her lawyers in the upcoming divorce trial.
According to the court documents obtained by The Blast, Drake-Lee is requesting her ex-husband to pay her lawyer $100,000. In addition, she wants $100,000 payment for a forensic accountant she owes and has used to prepare for the upcoming divorce trial.
Aryn Drake-Lee also has added that Jesse Williams has already paid $270,000 towards her legal bills so far in the ongoing divorce but has asked for more since she needs to prep for the trial, which is scheduled for September.
Based on $521,000 monthly income, Williams currently pays his ex-wife $100k a month in support, $50k in child and $50k spousal support. He has been battling her to try and lower it down saying it’s way too high.
However, she is expected to argue for no reduction and instead believes Williams owes her close to $1 million in retroactive support. She also wants the custody schedule to be more consistent.
