Jimmie Allen, wife Alexis Gale announce separation, pregnancy with third child together

Jimmie Allen and his wife Alexis Gale are simultaneously separating and expecting.

The former couple took to Instagram to announce their split after a two-year marriage. Moreover, Gale is pregnant with their third child together.

The country singer wrote, “After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate.”

He continued, “As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year. Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another.”

“In light our growing family, we respectfully request privacy during this time,”  Allen concluded.

Gale, who is a nurse, also took to Instagram to release a similar statement as her ex-partner.

She wrote, “After much thought and reflection in recent months, Jimmie & I have made the decision to separate. As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year. Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy, and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another. In light of our growing family, we respectfully request privacy during this time.”

The pair married in June 2020 in a private ceremony and held a larger wedding in May 2021 in Pennsylvania.

Back in August 2021, Allen shared that he “never wanted to get married” until he met Gale.

He told People at the time, “I wanted to be a dad and do music, that’s it. The whole husband thing was not something I ever wanted to do. But Alexis changed that. Now, I like it. It gives me some security...She can’t just be like, ‘I’m done.’ Divorce is a lot of paperwork!”

Allen, 37, and Gale, 27, are parents to daughters Naomi, 3, and Zara, 1. Allen is also parents to son Aadyn, 8, from his previous relationship.
