Singer and dancer Julianne Hough has finally gotten around to filing for divorce from Brooks Laich – five months after the pair announced they had split.

According to the paperwork obtained by The Blast,  Hough filed for dissolution of marriage in the Los Angeles County Courts on Monday. Hough, 32, and Laich, 37, married in July 2017 after a nearly two-year engagement. They do not have any children together.

In May 2020 they had shared that they were quarantined in separate states while their relationship was murky throughout the summer.

“[He] definitely still open to getting back together with Julianne,” People said, citing a source, “If that were an option, he would be all in.”

Months before the public split from the NHL player, the former Dancing with the Stars and America’s Got Talent judge spoke candidly about her sexuality, revealing she is “not straight” in the September 2019 issue of Women’s Health.
