Larry King’s sons have expressed their loss in devastating loss of their “amazing father” to COVID-19.
“We are heartbroken over our father’s death, and together with our extended family mourn his passing,” Larry King, Jr., Chance King, and Cannon King said in a statement. “The world knew Larry King as a great broadcaster and interviewer, but to us he was ‘dad.’ He was the man who lovingly obsessed over our daily schedules and our well-being, and who took such immense pride in our accomplishments — large, small, or imagined. And, through it all, we knew without a doubt in the world that he loved us more than life itself.”
The trio is King’s remaining children after two of his children Andy King and Chaia King died last year within 23 days apart from each other.

The former CNN star died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles aged 87. He was still married to his seventh wife Shawn Southwick at the time of his death, although they had separated and filed for divorce in 2019.
