Meghan King confirms divorce from Jim Edmonds

Two years after filing for divorce, Meghan King and Jim Edmonds are officially divorced.

The 36-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed to Us Weekly about her emotional state following the divorce.

“I feel the same as I did before it was finalized. I think it’s, like, an energetic closure, which is important, but I mean, I’ve been learning how to be independent ever since we separated, ever since the divorce was filed,” King told the outlet, “and so that’s almost, I guess, a year and a half now.”

Meghan King and Jim Edmonds separated after five years of marriage in October 2019. The ex-couple share three children together- daughter Aspen, 4, and 2-year-old twin sons, Hayes and Hart.

“So it just — it feels good,” she continued, “It feels good to put that behind me and just look to the future. I want to spend my life with a partner. I’m a loyal, monogamous individual.”

King also added that she has had fun dating and is hoping to settle down with “that partner.”

Since the filing of the divorce, King has had a few high-profile relationships.

Last May she was dating 40-year-old businessman Christian Schauf, having their relationship Instagram official. However, they broke up last fall.

Currently, she is together with “friend-turned-boyfriend” Will Roos.
