‘Naked and Afraid’ star Melanie Raucher’s sudden cause of death revealed

Naked and Afraid star Melanie Raucher's cause of death has been released. According to reports she died by accident after sucking compressed air used in cleaning products which proved to be a fatal amount.

TMZ released the late reality star’s autopsy report from the Yavapai County Medical Examiner stating that Melanie inhaled the toxic propellant which left her unresponsive. Her official cause of death has been confirmed as difluoroethane toxicity.

Her cause of death did not involve the use of drugs and alcohol.

Huffing, which is the street slang for inhaling propellant, is mostly used by young adults who are seeking a cheap high. 

Raucher, 35, was discovered dead on July 17, 2022, in Prescott, Arizona. The Prescott Police Department representative Corey Kasun confirmed the news adding that she was dog-sitting in the city while the homeowners were out of town. Upon returning they found the reality star dead in their guest room.

Back then it was unclear if Rauscher had knowingly consumed cans’ content and there was no suicide note left behind. Police had ruled out foul play or drug paraphernalia when her body was found.
