Natalie Portman, Benjamin Millepied divorce finalized amid his alleged affair

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied have finalized their divorce.

Portman, 42, quietly filed for divorce from Millepied, 46, eight months ago.

The Leon actress had filed for dissolution from the choreographer in July 2023. Their divorce was finalized in France where they reside with their children - son Aleph, 12, and daughter Amalia, 7.

The former couple tied the knot in August 2012 in California, USA, and were married for 11 years.

In June 2023 it was reported that Millepied had allegedly cheated on his wife with a 25-year-old woman named Camille Étienne, who is a climate activist.

The outlet further detailed that the pair first separated in 2022 but had since worked to improve their marriage.

A source close to the couple said at the time, “They have not split and are trying to work things out. Ben is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him. “He loves her and their family.”

However, their marriage’s downfall came once again after his extramarital affair with the young climate activist came to light.

The source shared that Portman’s biggest focus is “protecting the kids.”

After her January 2024 interview with the Wall Street Journal, the Black Swan star shared that she lived in France with her kids. However, at the time, she failed to mention Millepied.

The May December actress has always been private when it comes to her personal life.

When asked about speculation surrounding her marriage, she told Vanity Fair in February 2024, “It’s terrible, and I have no desire to contribute to it.”
