Nick Cannon shares a sweet message to his late son Zen who passed away from brain cancer at the age of 5 months.

The Masked Singer host wrote alongside his Instagram post, “Still missing my little dude… His Spirit and brightness were soo strong #ZensLight “To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord”. 2Corinthians 5:8 The whole family, We ALL miss you, young King! Forever Our Angel!”

In the picture his 10-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan – whom he shares with ex Mariah Carey – each sat beside him while cuddling their younger half-siblings.

Back in December 2021, Cannon shared that his 5-month-old infant had passed away from brain cancer. Zen’s mother is his ex-girlfriend Alyssa Scott.

“This weekend I made a valid effort to spend the most quality time I could spend with Zen. We woke up on Sunday … and [went] to the ocean … and then I had to fly back to New York for the show. By the time I got in the car and was headed to the airport, I had to turn around.” Nick Cannon shared.

He explained why he and Scott did not put their son through chemotherapy, “We started asking, ‘Is there a way to prevent this? If not, how long do we have?’ The conversations quickly turned to, ‘How can we give him the best life for the time that he does have?’ It could be weeks, it could be months, it could be years.”

Aside from Zen, Moroccan, and Monroe, he shares two children with ex Brittany Bell - 4-year-old son Golden “Sagon” and 1-year-old daughter Powerful Queen. Most recently, he welcomed twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion “Zilly” Heir, with then-girlfriend Abby De La Rosa in June 2021.
