Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Falynn Pina and Jaylan Banks have broken up. The former couple faced another loss – less than a month after her miscarriage.

The 33-year-old former reality star and her fiancé released a joint statement on Instagram, “It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we have decided to end our journey as a couple. Though we love each other very much, we feel it is best to part ways. Our bond as family and friends will never be broken. We ask for privacy at this time.”

On January 11, 2023, Pina shared that her home was “filled with tears” and “broken hearts” after the death of their baby. This was their second pregnancy as they are also parents to daughter Emma Sang, whom they welcomed on Nov. 26, 2021.

In October 2021, Falynn Pina and Jaylan Banks announced their engagement, “I said YES!!! I have no clue how @itsjaylanbanks pulled this big surprise off but I have not stopped balling [sic] my eyes out. I love you baby #PerfectlyPina.”

Their relationship began in early 2021 amid her divorce from her now ex-husband Simon Guobadia. The 58-year-old, who had appeared in RHOA, had accused Pina of cheating on Banks.

“Let’s start with why I filed for divorce. Let’s start with who she cheated with and is currently pregnant for and living in a home I paid for — post-divorce,” he had said.

“Simon doesn’t get caught unless he wants to be caught. I meant what I said when I took my vows. It hurts; it hurts like hell,” Pina tearfully said of her now ex-husband.

Although Pina accused Guobadia of infidelity, he denied cheating on his wife and offered $50,000 in cash to anyone with receipts of his alleged cheating. They divorced in July 2021.

Simon Guobadia then went on to date fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Porsha Williams and married her in November 2022.
