Say Yes to the Dress star Randy Fenoli has announced that he is now engaged to his boyfriend Mete Kobal. The couple has been dating for almost one year.

Fenoli told People on Sunday, “I’m so in love. Every day I’m giddy. And every day just gets more amazing. It really does. It’s easy. It’s nothing what I thought a relationship was and nothing like I’ve ever had in the past. It’s unbelievable.”

The 58-year-old TLC star popped the question during a romantic evening at the Marmara Park Avenue hotel, surrounded by 50 of their closest friends and family.

“YES! It’s Official! We’re Engaged!! @metekobal We’re so in love!” Fenoli later also announced his engagement on his social media alongside a picture of the romantic proposal while showing off their engagement ring.

“He really wanted to surprise Mete with a beautiful moment for him to remember always,” Marcy Blum- the elaborate event planner shared, “Randy and I have been friends forever and I’m so delighted to be creating his perfect proposal for him.”

It was also revealed that Fenoli had told Kobal that they were heading to dinner at the Museum of Modern Art and instead led him to the hotel for “over-the-top” and “lush” décor proposal and eventual engagement party.

“I just wanted to make it really special for him and make a memory that we would have the rest of our lives,” Fenoli spoke of his surprise proposal.

Randy Fenoli and Mete Kobal first met at the Marmara in January where Kobal was, at the time, working as a restaurant and bar manager.

Fenoli has been hosting the hit wedding series Say Yes to the Dress for the last 15 years.

“I’m the king of bridal. I’ve been doing this bridal for 30 years, and I honestly just never thought it was going to happen for me. And I was OK with that. I was like, ‘Honestly, I have my career, I have my home, I have my dog, I have my mom,’ and I’m like, ‘I’m just going to be single the rest of my life.’ And then I met Mete,” he had said of relationship and marriage.
