Shannen Doherty files for divorce from husband Kurt Iswarienko

Shannen Doherty has filed for divorce from her husband Kurt Iswarienko. Her representatives added that she “had no other option.”

Doherty’s rep Leslie Sloane released a statement, “Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted. Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option. You can contact Kurt’s agent, Collier Grimm at PICTUREKID, as she is intimately involved.”

Although it is unconfirmed, the statement did suggest that another woman or an affair did cause the divorce.

The Charmed star reportedly filed the legal papers in Los Angeles on Friday.

The 52-year-old has been separated from her 48-year-old husband since January 2023.

Doherty, who was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in February 2020 and has since beat the illness, is reported to be “not well” health-wise.

In a 2019 interview with People, the actress said that her first breast cancer battle has improved her marriage with Iswarienko, who is a photographer.

She said at the time, “Cancer solidified us. Kurt and I have a much deeper appreciation for each other now.”

The former couple, who married in October 2011, has no prenup and share no children.

This is the third marriage for Shannen Doherty.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star was first married to Ashley Hamilton from 1993 to 1994. She wed poker player Rick Salomon in 2002 which ended in divorce in 2003.
