Sharon Osbourne leaning on kids following husband Ozzy’s death

Heartbroken Sharon Osbourne is leaning on her three kids for support after her husband Ozzy Osbourne passed away.

Ozzy died at the age of 76 on July 22. The Black Sabbath rocker was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2019.

A source close to the family told People, “Sharon's heartbroken but very proud of the life the family built together. Everyone's rallying around her. She's been the rock of this family for decades, and now it's her turn to be held up."

The source added that her “kids are making sure she's never alone — they've been with her constantly, sharing stories, laughing through the tears and just being together.”

“There's a lot of pain, but also a lot of comfort from the family time that they got to enjoy up until the very end,” the source shared.

Osbourne's family announced his death in a statement.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family's privacy at this time."

Since his death, his wife has reportedly returned to his home country in the UK and has settled in Buckinghamshire.

The source told PEOPLE at the time, “Sharon had wanted to move back to England for years, especially as she got older. England was always home for them, but it became more than that. It was about creating peace and the best life possible together in their final chapter. The path back to England wasn't easy. His health has been fragile for years.... It was a gift, because they got a year and half together, at home."

Sharon and Osbourne met when Sharon worked as his manager. They married in 1982 and raised three kids together - Aimee, 41, Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39.

Ozzy was also the father to Jessica and Louis, whom he welcomed with his first wife Thelma Riley. They were married from 1971 to 1982, during which he also adopted Riley’s son, Elliot.

He was also a grandfather to 10 grandchildren.
