Sydney Sweeney engaged to boyfriend Jonathan Davino

Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney is now engaged to boyfriend Jonathan Davino. The couple sparked the now-confirmed rumors after the actress was spotted wearing a massive diamond ring on her left ring finger.

The 24-year-old has been dating a Chicago-based 37-year-old restauranteur since 2018. Her fiance owns a popular Italian eatery in Chicago- Pompei and a device technology and packaging company.

Sweeney, whose breakthrough came with the drama series Euphoria in 2019, has always been secretive about her relationships. However, on several occasions, she and Davino have been spotted packing on some PDAs. 

While speaking to Cosmopolitan in January, she explained why she keeps her relationship out of the spotlight and off social media.

“I don’t date people in the spotlight. I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest. I have a great support system,” she said.

She added, “I have people who will battle for me and allow me to be on the pedestal and shine without making me feel like, ‘Oh no, I’m shining too bright and I need to step back.’”

Sydney Sweeney had also revealed that her ideal partner is someone she can “hang out with 24/7 and never get sick of” and her ”best friend.”
