Toni Collette to divorce husband Dave Galafassi amid cheating scandal

Toni Collette and her husband Dave Galafassi are divorcing shortly after photos of him kissing a mystery woman surfaced.

The 50-year-old actress and the 44-year-old musician took to Instagram to release a joint statement to announce the separate paths they are going to take in life.

“After a substantial period of separation, it is with grace and gratitude that we announce we are divorcing. We’re united in our decision and part with continuing respect and care for each other. Our kids are of paramount importance to us and we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit a different shape.”

The statement read alongside an image of a floral arrangement that spelled out “PEACE & LOVE”, “We’re thankful for the space and love you grant us as we evolve and move through this transition peacefully. Big thanks. - Toni Collette and David Galafassi”

Collette and Galafassi had married in 2003 and share two children together- daughter Sage Florence, 14, and son Arlo Robert, 11. The family has divided their time between the United States and Australia.

Just a week ago, Dave Galafassi was pictured kissing a mystery blonde woman on the beach in Sydney. The new love interest was later identified as a 41-year-old chiropractor named Shannon Egan.
