Vanessa Hudgens is soon to start a new life – as a parent!

The former Disney star is pregnant with her first child with husband MLB shortstop Cole Tucker.

Hudgens debuted her growing baby bump as she co-hosted Countdown to Oscars: On the Red Carpet Live! at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The High School Musical alum stunned in a floor-length black Vera Wang Couture gown, accessorized with Chopard jewelry – a necklace embroidered with a 10-carat yellow pear-shaped diamond and 30-carats of white diamonds. She also wore the Haute Joailler collection’s diamond rings and earrings.

The news of the pregnancy comes three months after Hudgens, 35, and Cole, 27, tied the knot in front of 100 of their closest friends and family.

The private wedding took place in Tulum, Mexico on December 2, 2024, at the Azulik City of Arts, a museum.

In an interview with Vogue, Hudgens revealed, “I knew that it was our place. I felt like I was transported to some kind of utopia, unlike anything I had ever been to before. It was whimsical and magical, and I just fell in love.”

The couple began dating at the end of 2020 and were first spotted hugging each other at the Canyon Country Store. After the November 2023 PDA, they were often pictured together.

They eventually made their red carpet debut at the 2021 AFI Fest Opening Night Gala and were engaged after two years of dating.

While speaking to People about the engagement, Hudgens shared, “I was extremely surprised. We had definitely talked about it, but I did not expect it to happen the way that it happened and the moment that it happened. It definitely caught me off guard and I was bawling my eyes out.”

However, the pregnancy did not come as a surprise to the fans.

Back in a 2022 interview with Nylon, she explained, “I always thought that around 36, 37 is when I would want to have kids, and that still plays. I don’t feel panicked about it.”
