Jessica Gomes is a model, actress by profession, and Australian by nationality. The Chinese-Portuguese beauty is well known for appearing in Harper's Bazaar and Sports Illustrated, serving as the Estee Lauder/Sean John fragrance, and as a spokesperson for LG Electronics and Hyundai.

Jessica Gomes’ birth took place on 25 September 1985 in Sydney, Australia. She was born to her Portuguese father, Joe Gomes, a bricklayer, and her Singaporean mother, Pay Yuen (Jenny), a nurse. Both her parents had immigrated to Australia in the 1970s. 

She is the youngest of four children and has three siblings - older sister Giselle, a midwife, Bianca, a former model, and older brother Nathan, a boilermaker. She was raised in Perth. 

After her mother’s friend advised her mother that Jessica Gomes had what it takes to be a model, her mother enrolled her at Linda-Ann Model Academy. As her mother was busy with her work, her sisters were the ones who drove her to her shoots.

Education, Ethnicity

For education, Jessica Gomes attended La Salle College. She also took modeling classes at Linda-Ann Model Academy at the age of 13 and studied at Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

Her ethnicity is multiracial – Chinese and Portuguese.

Jessica Gomes was in a relationship with her boyfriend, Drapac, in 2013 and lived with him in Los Angeles. After their breakup, she went on to date Rocky Elsom for a year between 2015 and 2015.

She was in a relationship with Xavier Samuel from 2016 but split up in 2018 and had a fling with Gus Wenner, heir to Rolling Stone magazine, in 2018.

In early 2019, it was shared that Australian Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo was dating Gomes. However, he denied these reports but admitted that the stories were 'positive' news. She is currently single. She is yet to marry, and sans husband, children.

Modeling

Her first modeling job was for the local sports council, and by the age of 17, she had signed with Vivien’s Model Management. At the beginning of her career, she worked mostly in Asia- including Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai. She is a household name in South Korea, having appeared in advertisements for the Hyundai Sonata and LG Cyon Bikini Phone.

Gomes had signed with IMG Models in 2004 after moving to New York City. 

The successful model has appeared in fashion magazines Vogue, Teen Vogue, Glamour, American Glamour, Harper's Bazaar, Sports Illustrated (2008–2015), Victoria's Secret, Biba, and Maxim. Moreover, she has modeled for top clothing brands DKNY Jeans, Garnier, Levi's, Motorola, and Urban Outfitters. 

She replaced Miranda Kerr as the fashion ambassador for Australian retail David Jones Limited in March 2013 and became the face of Enprani Cosmetics. She has also launched her lip gloss line, Gomes Pink.

After a successful career in South Korea, she landed her own TV show, My Name Is Jessica Gomes (2009), which showed her chronicled her time in New York. She also competed in the Korean version of Dancing with the Stars (2011) and placed in third place.

As an actress, Jessica Gomes has appeared in the films Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), Once Upon a Time in Venice (2017), Father Figures (2017), and Tigertail (2017).
